Bridal Party SPOTLIGHT... Ashley Brammer

Bridesmaid
Friend of the Bride
Ashley and I have known each other for quite some time. We met in 4th grade; we were in the same class at Lebanon Road Elementary School. The next year I moved away... to another school. We didn't see each other again for 4 or 5 years when we started attending the same high school. Some how we miraculously remembered each other. I mean I am pretty unforgettable :)
From then we became great friends! However once again, when we graduated, and Ashley went off to Chapel Hill, we lost touch. Then once Ashley was done at her fancy school, she came baack to Charlotte and I started doing her hair, then we 'rekindled' our friendship.
Ashley will be joining us with her new husband(as of Aug. 9) Scott Timmons. Scott and Ashley live in Matthews where they just puchased their first home together. Congratulations to the both of you!
Ashley has been a great friend and very supportive and helpful with my upcoming wedding. I'm sure that even after we are both married and live so far away that we will be able to continue our friendship.

Thanks Ashley and best of luck to you, on your wedding day!

We have a PHOTOGRAPHER!

Yay, someone to take our pictures!

Bridal Party SPOTLIGHT... Erin Mae Spencer

Bride's Best Lady!
Best Friend to the Bride
Erin and I have known each other since high school. We also worked together at Outback Steakhouse, I got her the job!
Over the past 8 years or so we have been through a lot and remained friends, that's quite an accomplishment for girls, especially when begining their friendship in high school.
Erin and her fiance, TJ, will be joining us from the beautiful Hawaii. Aren't we all jealous. Though this is not were they are originally from; the two of them moved there this past November, and are having a great time during this journey.
Even considering the great distance between us right now, as well as the fact she is trying to plan a wedding of her own, Erin has been such a gret help through out this process and I am sure she will continue to do so.
Erin is so sweet and thoughtful, she's always up for anything, whether it be martini's or movies. She's quite the 'social lubricant' as well, she could get a party started anywhere. I'll be counting on her to ensure that everyone has a great time at the reception. So if you're bored find Erin!

Thanks for everything you are and all that you do, Miss Erin Mae!

Ceremony Musician

Lori Spencer (yes Miss Erin Mae's mom) is a wonderful 'jazz and finger style' guitarist.

She has agreed to be our ceremony musician and we are so grateful.

You can listen to some great demos on her myspace.

Thanks Lori!

We have Food!!!

This weekend was successful! We officially have a caterer and baker.

We have chosen The New South Cafe to cater our reception. We are going with southern American style food, and have a delicious menu planned for everyone.

For those of you who know me, you know that cake is my favorite thing; besides Mike of course.
That being said, we have chosen Sonja Fishkind of The Art Cake Co to do our cake. You know if I approve it's gotta be good :)
