Hotel Information and Other Notes!

Suggested Hotels are listed on the right side of your screen, with a link to their website.
*UPDATE* Unfortunately, The Marshall House has already booked, we are suggesting River Street Inn as an alternate.
We have a great group rate at River Street Inn, they will be holding rooms up to September 19th! Please book as soon as possible to take advantage of the great deal they are offering us!

Where to stay??
There are 3 locations we have selected for you, Statesboro, Savannah, and the Savannah Airport.
STATESBORO is the closest to the farm. It typically takes 20 minutes to drive there. For our guests who are planning to attend many of the wedding events and do not wish do drive a lot, this is the place for you. For guests who are coming from the Atlanta area, Statesboro is on your way to the farm. The Holiday Inn is brand new, so you'll be one of the first to enjoy all it has to offer! We have a group rate here, you can call or book online, if you book online use group code ETW
SAVANNAH is a little farther away (typically takes about 45 minutes to get there), however it is a wonderful city to visit. If you have never been this is a great opportunity to make a vacation out of your trip! We suggested 2 hotels in Savannah, River Street Inn and the Comfort Inn. If you are looking for the full historic Savannah experience, River Street Inn is located at the beginning of Savannah's Landmark Historic District. Wrapped around a central atrium, this five-story Historic Inn on Savannah's Riverfront is preserved to offer travelers a taste of yesterday with all the modern conveniences of today. There is also a complimentary Wine & Hors d'oeuvres Reception each evening from 5-7 pm. Experience Savannah at smaller price The Comfort Inn is in the same area, located inside the historic district of Savannah and within walking distance of famous River Street and the City Market.
SAVANNAH AIRPORT, for our guests flying in! Four Points by Sheraton is right next to the airport, and it's a quick drive either to the farm or into Savannah for a day of shopping.

Just a few things to consider:

Ladies, please consider that you will be walking on soft ground as well as some gravel; because of this we would suggest that you do not wear shoes with pointy hills (i.e. stilettos), these styles have a tendency to sink into the ground. Some alternatives you may consider are wedges or flats.

According to The Weather Channel, the average temperature should fall in the mid to high 70's. There is an average high of 78 and a low of 56. However it can get cooler as the sun goes down, because the wedding and reception are outside you may want to bring a sweater or shawl.
*We will update this information when the wedding is closer.

Those guest planning to attend the "Beach Party Bonfire", it will take place once the reception comes to an end. the bonfire will be very casual, so feel free to bring a change of clothes with you.

For additional questions please feel free to email me at MichaelAndreaWed.RSVP@gmail.com. I will do my best to get back to you in a timely fashion.

It's getting closer! The Marshall House looks like a darn fine Hotel, although it's booking fast - unless you have any rooms set aside?
